As a child who struggled to communicate, it’s no wonder I grew up to be a reporter, giving me an outlet to speak my voice and show the world my talent as a storyteller. Over the past 10 years, I have had the privilege of wielding and honing this talent for the likes of HealthCare Business News, The Baltimore Sun Media Group, ABC News, Newsday, and other reputable media brands, covering everything from practices for preventing cyberattacks, to financial pressures faced by hospitals worldwide, to the construction of underwater museums.
My career as a reporter, along with my diligence and strong work ethic, has afforded me countless opportunities, including a promotion to senior reporter within a year of starting at HealthCare Business News, recognition by the Drudge Report, and the chance to attend and cover in-person conferences throughout the U.S. and Europe. Still, I know that there is more to learn, and I am always searching for opportunities to build on my skill and expertise as a reporter. If you had to ask me if I see myself still in the field ten years down the line, the answer would be a resounding yes without a second thought. For the rest of my life, I see myself continuing in this line of work. I thrive on being able to provide readers with the facts and knowledge they need to navigate the day-to-day challenges laid out within their communities and the entire world.
My experience primarily lies in U.S. and international healthcare, business, and technology, but I also love writing about politics, legal affairs, climate change, foreign cultures, and entertainment. Additionally, I have photo, video, and other multimedia experience as well as social media and SEO skills.
I am a graduate of Stony Brook University where I earned a BA in journalism and a minor in political science. When I’m not writing, I’m pursuing my other passion for acting, hanging with friends, binge-watching Netflix and HBO Max, or exploring everything my home city of New York has to offer.
